Approximately 12% of the population works out on a regular basis at a gym*, yet in a recent survey, 90% of people polled believe that regular exercise is necessary for overall health and wellness. As a trainer, I hear all the excuses: I do not have time, I cannot afford a gym membership and I don’t have room to put equipment in my house. Do you have time to be sick? Do have time to experience a serious illness? Celebrities and top athletes hire trainers all the time, but not because it’s cool. They hire trainers because they understand that they need to maximize results and minimize time spent working out, all while reducing the risk of injury. The right trainer can help you accomplish the same thing while providing a level of accountability that most of us need. And it doesn’t need to be expensive.
